AI & Digital Transformation Youth Summit 2025 a huge Success

Over 300 young people from across the country gathered in July for the AI & Digital Transformation Youth Summit 2025, a high-impact event organised in partnership with key national and international stakeholders.

The summit, which took place at the University of Eswatini (UNESWA), served as a dynamic platform for digital learning, innovation exchange, and youth empowerment. It featured a mix of keynote speeches, panel discussions, workshops, and exhibitions focusing on artificial intelligence (AI), digital tools, and emerging technologies.

A Vision Realised Through Collaboration

Organised by Stratcom Media, the summit was made possible through the collaborative support of the Ministry of Information, Communication and Technology (ICT), the Royal Science and Technology Park (RSTP), the Innovators Association of EswatiniUNESWA, and the Eswatini National Commission for UNESCO.

“We are proud to have brought this vision to life,” said Sibusiso Mngadi, CEO of Stratcom Media. “This summit was more than just an event. It was a demonstration of what’s possible when bold ideas are matched with strategic planning and strong partnerships.”

Engaging Content, Inspiring Dialogue

The programme featured local and international speakers who addressed topics such as AI for entrepreneurship, digital transformation in education, ethical innovation, and the future of work. Youth participants were actively involved, asking questions, networking with experts, and taking part in hands-on sessions aimed at building their digital confidence.

Sessions were also livestreamed and shared across social platforms, extending the summit’s reach and allowing wider audiences to engage with the content in real time.

Purpose-Driven Execution

According to organisers, the event’s success was driven by clear operational planning, strategic communication, and a shared commitment to excellence. “The outcome we saw was not incidental,” said the project team. “It reflected the values we hold at Stratcom: innovationintegritycollaborationexcellence, and community.”

The summit not only reinforced Stratcom’s role as a communications and digital transformation leader in Eswatini, but also highlighted the growing interest among young people in AI and tech-enabled careers.

Youth at the Centre

A key highlight of the summit was the high level of youth engagement. Many participants expressed enthusiasm for pursuing careers in technology and entrepreneurship following the event. “I didn’t know AI could be used to tell stories and automate business tasks,” said one participant. “Now I’m inspired to learn more and apply it in my own life.”

Stratcom extended its appreciation to all contributors, including the moderators, technical crew, volunteers, and exhibitors who ensured the seamless delivery of the event.

Looking Ahead

The 2025 AI & Digital Transformation Youth Summit is expected to be the first in a series of initiatives aimed at building digital capacity among young people in Eswatini and the broader SADC region.

“As Stratcom, we remain committed to helping institutions, brands, and individuals navigate the evolving digital landscape,” said Mngadi. “This summit is a reflection of our mission — to turn vision into execution.”
